Awareness Period 3-4 weeks

The pup has developed and made used of all of their senses by now. They are eager to experience all the world can offer, but it is best not to overwhelm them. Avoid making drastic environmental changes that the pup may not be able to process properly resulting to shallow attention span. Change of surface may be the first environ change including an auditory stimulus. A radio quietly playing is constantly in any surface change introduced. Taking the pups in pairs lessens the stress of surface changes.
