This is the period that a puppy is ready to transfer its feelings from its dam to its people. The puppy shall be given time to get to know other people aside from its breeders and kin. It is taught to bear the common sounds and scents of different kinds of people, places and things. 

As soon as the 6th week is through, the start of the 7th week marks its readiness to be integrated in a new home. At this point onwards, what the puppy will turn out to be is what it is taught. Their character and mettle will be defined by what it has been trained. 

On its 10th week, the Weimaraner pup learns to stay in its own nook, but still close to human contact.
